From a design point of view, I think this watch is the forerunner of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Survivor. Take a look at these two watches and you will agree that the design of this Rubens Barrichello II limited edition watch will enter the Surviror watch in a few years. The appearance is not exactly the same, but part of the same variety. These include pointers, dial designs, light vertical textures (see strap links here), and crown and putter designs. The watch in the picture is part of “where” and then Audemars Piguet Replica Watches took a distance from the survivors. Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak Offshore Rubens Barrichello II watch was created to commemorate the same-named Brazilian Formula One racer. For some reason, the Brazilian racer seems to be not only the theme of many of Audemars Piguet’s high-end sports watches, but also other brands such as Hublot and Richard Mille – can’t say I know why.
The watch was offered in 2006 in three limited editions. 500 grams of 18k rose gold, 150 inches of 950 platinum, 1000 alloy pattern. The bezel and buttons are made of black ceramic, another compound that enters the AP survivor’s watch. You can’t say it here, but the watch’s back has a carved F1 racing steering wheel. With its aggressive appearance, the watch looks bigger than it. The case is 42 mm wide. The watch’s dial is easy to read and has a distinct Royal Oak Offshore tradition. Please note the small hand color of different colors for a cute touch (bright Brazilian flag color). Also note how the dial is partially hollowed out, and the Mega Tapestry dial pattern that normally shows the AP is observed through the middle portion of the grind. This is interesting because it is one of the early modern openwork watches – it has become very popular in luxury sports (and other) watches over the past few years.
The coolest thing is that although the strap is leather, the inner strap is lined with alcantara leather – the famous ‘slip-resistant’ Italian leather, which is produced in only one factory and is very popular in racing seats. These belts have always been comfortable, and I dare say that the strap on the Royal Oak Offshore Watch may even be an improvement. Please note that the straps on the available watches are also perforated. The interior of the watch is an Audemars Piguet Replica calibre 2326/2840 automatic mechanical chronograph movement with a power reserve of 38 hours. In my opinion, this is the most interesting and attractive limited edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore to watch there. APs often change colors or similar things. Here they seem to have gone a long way and gave us something new and interesting. These watches are very rare now. One of the James lists is available. The price is not indicated, but I think it will cost at least $20,000, perhaps more or less.
